Philby Lee is the Chief Executive Officer of Retail Management HQ of Far Eastern Retail Group (FERG) with strong leadership and management capability in retailing and channel operation. She plays key roles in setting Far Eastern Group (FEG) synergy strategies and integrating group resources in B2C consumer sectors, including retail, banking, telecom, transportation, hospitality, etc. •Led over 10 FEG companies (4 public listed) and more than 2000 vendors and suppliers to complete 3 large complex retail projects simultaneously. •Successfully launched FERG’s new generation of 3 ”City Malls” with total over 660,000 square meters during Dec 2011 and April 2012. Top City and Big City malls reached over US$320 million sales revenue in 1st year and each ranked No. 5 and No. 8 in Taiwan after only 5 years in operation.
Prior to joining the retail sector of FEG, Philby was an EVP for Far Eastern Telecom in charge of Sales and Services – she is a proven visionary and strategic leader successfully leading revolutionary moves and marking historical milestones in Taiwan. •1st operator in Asia to receive SGS Service Excellence Certification for 400 retail stores and call center “at one shot” (2006) •1st operator in Taiwan to adopt dual-branding retail strategy to enhance coverage and penetration – 1st to embark telecom operator’s vertical integration (2005) •1st operator from Taiwan to set up a call center in China (Shanghai Pudung) for operation efficiency and as a springboard to China (2002) •1st Taiwan operator to receive the honorable World’s Best Enterprise Solution Innovation Award from World GSM Congress in Cannes, France (2001); the only Taiwan operator thus far to receive this category of award
Philby has more than 30 years of success in diverse areas of accounting, finance, customer services, operation, sales & marketing, and corporate crisis management in various industries, including telecom, hi-tech, construction, and real estate development.
Philby is a U.S. Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.). She received her B.S. in Accountancy from the Northern Arizona University.
