The world is witnessing a change from the positive influences of women and the momentum they initiate, which clearly indicates that female power is not to be overlooked. Owing to female board members’ participation in major decision-making processes, enterprises benefit from more comprehensive views which reduce operational risks, diversified corporate image and raised profit. However—although female participation is prevalent in Taiwan’s workforce— the female voice amongst the executive level is yet to reach its full volume. A progressive society should be constantly injected with innovative ideas; hence, we hope to gather the female power and wisdom to foster creativity and inspire energy to advance our society.
Women on Boards Taiwan (WOB. Tw) was founded in April of 2018. We bring female leaders of various fields on various missions: to assist enterprises increase board seats for female executives, to establish female executive database and to pioneer change in work fields. Current members of WOB.tw span over 15 industry sectors including technology, law, financial services and more. With their comprehensive views and broad wisdom, these inspirational women are committed to mentoring future generations of female leaders.
